Select a question to view its answer. When troubleshooting, check your account and configuration first, then look at the app and server. Change one thing at a time to pinpoint where the issue occurs. If you need help, keep the error message and steps you took, but don’t expose subscription credentials in attachments.

Account & subscriptions

Your account stores plan and order details; your client uses the subscription configuration. Knowing which to use can help prevent duplicate imports and mistakes with old configurations.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Follow the prompts in the user dashboard and store your login details securely; use a unique password that you don’t share with other sites. Your account lets you view plans, access your subscription, manage orders, and submit support tickets. The marketing site does not display your actual subscription URL. You may need to sign in again after switching browsers or clearing browser data; this does not mean your plan has been lost. If you forget your login details, use the recovery option available in the dashboard. Don’t assume an email address you never provided can be used for recovery, and never share your password.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I import it?

Sign in to the user dashboard and check your plan status, then find your link under the subscription section in the account overview. Use the download section in the dashboard to get a client; avoid installing files from unknown file-sharing sites. In the client, choose the subscription or remote configuration option, paste the complete link, and save it. Then update the configuration, choose a server, and connect. Your subscription link contains personal access credentials, so don’t share it in group chats, screenshots, or public ticket attachments. If the client says the format isn’t supported, check the import method in the dashboard rather than changing the link parameters.

The server list hasn’t changed. How do I update my subscription?

In the client’s subscription or configuration manager, select the VPNLn profile and update the subscription. Then check the result and server list. Updating a subscription fetches the configuration again; it does not charge you again. If the update fails, first make sure your device can access the user dashboard, then check your plan status, confirm the link is complete, and ensure the client isn’t still using an old profile. If the dashboard shows that your subscription link has changed, import the current link from the dashboard; refreshing the old link may not fix the issue. After saving the new profile, remove duplicate old profiles to avoid selecting the wrong one. Keep any error message for troubleshooting, but don’t share the full subscription link.

Do I need to buy again if I switch devices or use multiple devices at once?

VPNLn has no limit on the number of devices that can be connected at the same time, so switching devices does not require another purchase. VPNLn supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. On a new device, sign in to your existing account, get the appropriate client from the dashboard, and import your current subscription. You’ll still need to import the configuration, connect, and confirm permissions separately on each device. A connection shown on your old device does not mean the new device is connected too. Devices on the same account share the traffic included in your plan; adding a device does not add traffic. Before handing over an old device, sign out and delete any saved subscription configuration to reduce the risk of someone else using your credentials.

Connections & troubleshooting

Check connection status, system permissions, and app traffic routing separately. Run a comparison test before changing settings, and avoid changing several options before checking the result.

The client says it’s connected, but why won’t a website load?

A connected status usually means the client has established a connection; it doesn’t confirm that requests to the website are successfully going through the server. Check the selected profile and server, then make sure the system proxy or VPN permissions are active and that no conflicting network tools are running. Test a regular website and the target service separately to see whether the issue affects the whole connection or just one site. Then switch servers and reload the page. If only the target site fails, check your account region, the platform’s error message, and the service’s status rather than assuming your subscription has stopped working. When submitting a support ticket, include your operating system, client, selected region, and the error text to help narrow down the issue.

Why does my browser work, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?

Browsers and apps may use different network routes. Some apps ignore the system proxy, or the client’s per-app rules may route them directly. So a successful browser test doesn’t mean the connection is working in every app. Check the client’s routing rules, app exclusion list, and connection mode, then confirm that your system allows the client to establish a VPN connection. After changing settings, fully close and reopen the app so it doesn’t reuse its previous connection. If you need to change connection modes, follow the client’s instructions and don’t enable conflicting modes at the same time. If the issue persists, note the app name, error message, and how it compares with the browser, then submit a support ticket.

No servers appear after import, or the configuration won’t parse. What should I do?

First, make sure you imported the complete subscription link from the dashboard—not copied instructions, a sign-in page URL, or incomplete parameters. Check that your client supports the import method, and refer to the client instructions in the dashboard’s download section. If you have other profiles, check which one is active so you don’t mistake an old server list for the newly imported one. An inactive plan, a changed link, or a failed configuration fetch can also leave the list empty. Don’t keep adding duplicate profiles, and never enter your credentials on an unfamiliar online conversion site. Include the parsing error and steps you took in your support ticket; keep the full subscription link private.

My connection drops frequently. How can I tell whether it’s my network or the server?

When the connection drops, check whether regular websites are also unreachable. See if your device is switching networks, going to sleep, or restricting the client’s background activity. Then compare servers on the same network. If all servers drop in a similar way, start by checking your local network, system permissions, and client settings. If only one server is affected, note its name as shown in the dashboard and when the issue occurred, then use another server. Keep test conditions consistent; changing your network, client, and target app at once makes it harder to identify the cause. In your support ticket, say whether the connection recovers on its own, requires you to reconnect, or shows a specific error.

Speed & servers

Choose servers based on what you need to do. Page loading, uninterrupted video playback, and a platform’s region checks are different things to test.

Video buffers or downloads slow down during peak hours. What should I check first?

Pause background downloads, cloud sync, and other tasks that use bandwidth continuously. Then check whether regular websites and the target service are both slow. Compare servers using the same device, network, and page rather than drawing conclusions from unrelated tests. Performance during peak hours depends on your local connection, international routes, and the target service; nearby regions don’t necessarily have faster routes. Compare other available servers in the same region first, then consider nearby regions. For video, judge performance by continuous playback, not just how quickly it starts loading. If the problem persists, submit a ticket with the time, server name, and app you were using.

How do I choose an international server from the region list?

VPNLn covers 100+ countries and 180+ servers; the current options in the dashboard are the source of truth. Choose a region based first on the target service’s requirements, then on how well it works on your current network. The geographically closest region isn’t always the best choice. For platforms that are sensitive to account region, keep your server region consistent with your use case to avoid triggering extra verification. Web browsing, file transfers, and video streaming have different performance needs, so test each use case rather than relying on how one page loads. Server types, names, and available regions may change; refer to the current configuration. Examples on marketing pages are not a guarantee of fixed server availability.

A streaming service or AI tool says my region isn’t supported. Does that mean the server isn’t working?

A region warning doesn’t necessarily mean the connection has failed. Streaming services and AI tools may consider your exit region, account details, payment region, device cache, and their own access policies. Check the server selected in your client, then reopen the app to see if the message changes. If needed, check your account region and the service’s official requirements. After switching regions, an existing session may retain its previous state; sign out and test again. VPNLn provides international server subscriptions but does not replace a platform membership or guarantee that a platform will always accept a particular server. If regular websites work but the platform doesn’t, submit a ticket with the platform name, error text, and selected region.

Do I need to switch servers often or keep global mode on all the time?

Frequent server switching doesn’t need to be part of your daily routine. Once you find a server that suits your needs, keeping the configuration and region stable makes it easier to spot real issues and reduces repeated verification by target services. Choose global mode based on the client’s instructions and your apps’ needs. Rule-based mode routes traffic according to the configuration, but an app may connect directly if a rule doesn’t match correctly. Global mode can help you compare results while troubleshooting, but it doesn’t need to stay on in every situation. Note your original settings before changing modes, then restore them if needed after testing. If an app only works after switching modes, include what happened and the app name in a support ticket instead of leaving the routing issue unresolved.

Billing & refunds

Monthly plans and data packages work differently. Check the plan details before placing an order, then use the order and plan status in the dashboard to confirm payment.

What monthly plans are available, and when does traffic reset?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the date your plan starts, not at the beginning of a calendar month. Check your billing period and remaining traffic in the dashboard. When choosing a plan, consider your usual usage: video streaming, file downloads, and background syncing across multiple devices can all use traffic continuously. The dashboard shows your actual usage. Traffic resets and plan validity are separate; if you can’t connect, check your plan status as well as your remaining traffic. See the pricing page or the plan section in your dashboard for details.

How do data packages differ from monthly plans, and which should I choose?

Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They last until used and never expire. Monthly plan traffic resets each month on the date your plan starts. A data package may suit you if your usage varies or you want to use your remaining traffic at your own pace. A monthly plan may suit ongoing use with a monthly traffic budget. “Never expires” describes the validity of the data package; it doesn’t mean you can keep using traffic after it runs out or that traffic is automatically replenished. Compare the price, included traffic, and usage terms separately rather than treating the products as having the same billing cycle. If you already have a plan, check the dashboard before switching; any stacking or replacement details depend on what it shows.

How does a mid-cycle upgrade work, and which payment methods are supported?

When you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before proceeding, check your current plan, the target plan, and the order details in the dashboard. Don’t estimate the final result based on a calendar month or a full billing cycle. VPNLn supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT; available payment options are shown on the order page. After paying, return to the dashboard to check your order and plan status. If the order is still pending, keep the order details and don’t submit the same order again while waiting. If payment is complete but your plan hasn’t updated, submit a support ticket with the order reference, payment method, and a description of the issue. Don’t expose your password, subscription link, or private payment details in public screenshots.

How do I request a refund, and what information should I provide?

VPNLn offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, sign in to the user dashboard, open a support ticket, explain that you’re requesting a refund, and include the relevant order reference so it can be checked. See the Terms of Service for details on eligibility. You don’t need to try every server before requesting a refund. A troubleshooting ticket is not the same as a refund request, so clearly state that you want a refund. Check for replies in the dashboard and provide any necessary order details as requested. No additional processing or arrival time is promised here; the outcome depends on the support ticket response and payment provider. Don’t include your full subscription link or password in a ticket.
